Waking, another day spent
Making, the worst of our
Lonely, and boring living
Lately, I wait the hour
Of repetition, of new addictions, to strip my youth away
Of night's ignition, and blindly fishing for how to spend my day
Still I miss
The way it was
Before the change
Before flood
Before the sun dried out the mud
Before my blood began to clot
But now I hear my passion ring
The drum kick in and my brethren sing
Sing in our selfdestructive sin
I'll enter night as a Nameless King
Shaking, and splitting headaches
Predates, the grueling wait
Wasting, all of my time
Till I, can leave again
Break my cell door, swim for the shore, run to the hills again
When I can't take more, all I long for, is breaking my restraints
Still I miss
The way it was
Before the change
Before flood
Before the sun dried out the mud
Before my blood began to clot
But now I hear my passion ring
The drum kick in and my brethren sing
And with a selfdestructive grin
I will dethrone the Nameless King
