Winter
It's hold on us is strong
Its cold and dark and lonely and just a little bit too long
Springtime
Never close enough to grasp
We spend our winters wishing it was warming than the last
Buried in at home
Until the sun returns to kill
The last bit of snow
Melt away so I can feel
As the rain comes through
The flowers bloom
And on the inside we change just as the seasons do
The seasons change but so do we
The winter's cold burying our old anxiety
The seasons change but so do we
The springtime blooms to a summer dream
As we awake from hibernation
We notice little things with a greater appreciation
But lest I forget
That without the winters wrath
I would stay the same and for that I'm grateful for the pain
Springtime... How do I know when I'm fine?
Springtime... Melt the ice and warm my mind
