Arrival under grey skies
The waves carry and baptize
The paths of delusion drew me to this place
All there is is grey, its totality
A lonely mountain daunts me
Creeping more into my sight
The peak piercing the end
Ancient spire of the sea
The rise and fall, the breathing tide
The wind cuts, my soul shaken
Am I to be forsaken
Is there no lord to be on my side
I manage to creep forward
Blackened crag below me
Above is fading light
This must be the compulsion
That did break down his mind
Escaping from the hell outside
We clamber into its halls
Divinity, eternity, the calm of home
I run towards it's calls
The rise and fall, the breathing tide
The wind chills, my soul wavers
I too see the forsaken
There is no lord to be on my side
Flying into its chamber
Bones locked in wonder
My soul shattered; mind asunder
Gaze: the swirling maw
Beginning to fall my mind reawakens,
The cruel interference of some god
Yet the kind god allowed the mind, not the body
To feel the shearing of the claws
