I wake up in my bed feeling groggy as hell

A matter of time until I climb up the hill
To see
How truly wonderful the world really is, I look up
At the clouds where the rain falls until
The clouds sweep away to finally unveil a memory
We were kids in the sun
Sunshine meant having fun
And if it started to rain
We were captains of the world without restrain
And we still see the sun, but it's not
A condition for having fun, I think its
Sad that it's nostalgic to think that

I think I would be more grateful if I could get my ass out of the door
To feel the wind until my eyes get sore
I might be the worst of them all
Because I, I don't see the value anymore
Of riding my bicycle to the store
Bying a magazine to read underneath a tree
To later on jump back on
And ride through the wind until I reach the sea
