And they're talking like we're heretics
We mention God's sovereignty
They're acting like they're scared of it
Instead of killing pride
And maybe taking time to cherish it
They rather spend their time
Make believing it's irrelevant

Is the revelation of magnificence
It's perfect sense
That it's something sinners would rebel against

Is what they're thinking when we tell of it
They hate God
I guess they're living for the hell of it

Christianity is more than just believing in God
Demons and heathens believe
But they're not justified
Without faith in Christ
They'll just get fried
They'll make it to the gate
But won't get inside
Even though they speak of love
In it they won't abide
In the word of the Lord that they criticize
For every law that is broken
Every small white lie
The God of all justice will be glorified
But as for the elect instead of justice we get mercy
