At the break of dawn, on his throne of gold
Odin sends his ravens, his secrets they hold
Huginn with his thoughts, Muninn with his past
Through the realms they soar, Odin's shadows they cast
Across the lands, o'er the seas so wide
They carry his wisdom, his watchful eyes
But deep in his heart, oh Odin's quiet plea
What if they don't return to me
Huginn, oh Huginn, fly swift, fly true
Muninn, dear Muninn, I'm lost without you
Though I fear not battle, nor the end of the skies
I dread the day when your flight dies
For without my thoughts, without my dreams
Who is Odin, what would I mean
The world's a maze of whispers and screams
Through fields of blood, and silver shining streams
They see the hearts of men, Know the gods' great schemes
Each feather carries Odin's silent dreams
Come evening tide, as the skies grow dim
Odin waits, his halls grow grim
Two shadows rise, from the farthest shore
But each day he fears, they'll come no more
Huginn, oh Huginn, fly swift, fly true
Muninn, dear Muninn, I'm lost without you
Though I fear not battle, nor the end of the skies
I dread the day when your flight dies
For without my thoughts, without my dreams
Who is Odin, what would I mean
Ravens of the All-father, bound yet free
You are my eyes, my memory
The twilight looms, yet still you soar
To keep me whole, forevermore
So I'll send you forth, till the end of days
And hope you'll return, through twilight's haze
For even a god, with wisdom's crown
Fears to be left in silence alone
