When he was growing up in Queens, he used to tag buildings as "Action." When coming up with his stage name, he decided to add "Bronson" to it in honor of actor Charles Bronson, of from the classic Deathwish series. "Charles Bronson is my grandfather's favorite actor," he said. And that the name Action Bronson "rolled off the tongue."

Born: December 2, 1983 (age 42)
From: Flushing, Queens, New York City, New York, U.S.
Genre(s): Hip hop
Occupation(s): Rapper, chef
Active From: 2008–present

Quotes:
"Yeah, I mean at the end of the day, it’s all good because Ghostface Killah is one of the best rappers alive, so if I sound similar to the best rapper alive then that is fine. To me there is no comparison; he is a legend and I am a newcomer. If I would try and emulate with anyone it would be Kool G Rap, he is the person I look up to the most. I am not upset but at the end of the day I am my own person and no one can take that away from me."

"I saw you standing in the rain
You were holding his hand and I'll never be the same"
-Dan Auerbach
