A blackened sky dressed with dread
To behold a sight of dark blue and red
A roaring thunder a god is born
In awe and wonder before the night's storm
And Man shall see what beauty means
From the cosmic sea to the buzzing bees
The silent might of distant stars
The truths and lies that die with us
A constant hammering a wall of rain
A great Wrath broke its chains
Night becomes day as lightning strikes
In crimson, white and grey darkness ignites
The air is pure honest and cold
Order to chaos, a spirit of old
Mud all around, the soil subsides
The horizon is lost, nothing divides
The trees struggle not to submit
To the force of the raging wind
Their branches break their leaves fall
But still they stand proud and tall
Alive shadows the mountain sides
A primal memory as clouds collide
Music and nature meet in a dance
Of violence's harmony, a holy man's trance
Like a child I reach out my hand
A farewell gift for a stranger to this land
Enthralled, complete, in delight
As I gaze the blazing skies
