In the alley's farthest bend a lone marigold blooms
Guiding toward a yellow shack in shadows it looms
Its door adorned with cryptic signs a tale untold
Inviting whispers of mystery in secrets it enfold
Clad in denim cotton with burdened load in tow
Through the threshold's veil I ventured in shadow's flow
Within the chamber's depths a scarlet bird I spied
Lying silent soulless as sleep from me did hide
In solitude's embrace our paths do part
Yet in closure's embrace we find a fresh start
Yes we find the courage to embrace the unknown
To journey forth no longer alone to emerge
To emerge from the depths as a phoenix from the flame
In rebirth we find strength rise above and reclaim
With burdened heart I bid adieu
Enveloped in the night's silent hue
Closing the door sealing fate's decree
Nevermore to wander that path yet forever free.
And reclaim
And reclaim
