Standin' on top of the world.
It's true what they say,
I wish I knew what I know now.
Taken it all in stride,
Happy just going along for the ride.
It was a long time ago
But it feels like yesterday.
When you're on top of the world,
You can see above it all.
But it's a blinding light,
You just may loose sight.
Some find a way,
But for most it just slips away.
And leaves you just to look back
To a brighter day.
But still it's better, than to never
