He doesn't feel like he's enough
He doesn't think that he is worth it
Smoked a cigarette at his desk
Set fire to his lifes work
But he doesn't really mind
He never really cared
'Cause nothing he ever wrote
Was something he was ready to share, no.

I relate to that guy
I think that I'm just like hime
I'd set fire to myself
Before I'd keep being who I've been
So when you ask me if I'm okay
You'll just remember that that's a question
With a set correct answer
And a wrong, not to mention that

I got all these problems
You tell me that no one's perfect
Then why am I such a problem
When your theory's being proven
I got these problems
You tell me that there is an upside
'Cause things are getting better
If I am able to bring them up, right?

Maybe one day I'll be heard
And I'm alive to see it
Or maybe I'll be gone for quite some time
And you don't really need this but
I just need to get that off me
Because I'm none of your concern
I don't want your opinion
I just wanted to be heard.

Guessing in yourself
Is detrimental to your health
Selfish, destructive thoughts
Takes what's left of my wealth but
At least it's something I felt
Unlike I used to be
I was soulless I was scared
That's not who I am to me
I'll do it to save myself
I'm afraid to let you in
But if I did then be aware
It's a battle you will win.

I don't even really know
I have friends who don't really know me
And that's what everybody says
But they'll warm up to me eventually

But this is something different
It will change things when they hear it
But maybe they might not
