Alex Dickson - Good Times in Crosby Park Lyrics

Alex Dickson - Good Times in Crosby Park Lyrics

Back in the day in the 1990s
I was just a kid that was full of pipe dreams
Born in '91 there was no one like me
Made a lot of friends that stayed beside me

Out at Crosby Park School
Your average little kid fool
I may have been a weird one
But still a little cool dude

Always had my friends' backs
My friends all had my back
All were part of my crew
And I was part of theirs too

Growing up in a neighborhood where nothin went wrong
Happy days and good times playing singing good songs
Crosby Park Edition I started out my mission
To have my best friend and brother coalition

Good times in Crosby Park
With friends and family all together
Swimming in the back yard
In the hot summer weather

Playing games, water guns, volleyball, and football
Imagination breeds creation with inside the house walls

Lego, Nintendo, PlayStation and, pretendo
All the fun was all we had with all the good and all the bad

Pokemon and Yugioh, Playin cards and watching shows
With my family and my friends, I did it all to the end

Now I'm growing up and I get a little older
Still a young kid, but the world's a little colder
On to Jr. High I spread my wings and start my first flight
Got my first girlfriend, things are looking alright

Moving on to High School, I get a little less cool
Outside of the in-crowd things just seem to spiral down
Graduated later relief from pain and anger
Still living down in Crosby park where life is still a work of art

Now I'm an adult everything's a little easier
Lost my dad still got my mom
I asked a girl I'll marry her
She said yes, man I'm blessed I'm grateful that I have her
Livin down in Crosby park, happily ever after
