I'm watching the rolling hills, boundlessly waving
Like a ripple in the tide of endless earth
Green, tall divides, and branches everywhere
I'm nowhere in nature, not at all
I'm one with everything, and the cows charm me with their call
A grasshopper, beside me, visits the fence
I hear children speaking, families in a house
I look behind, and no one is there
I'm in Sky Meadows
I'm heavenly refreshed
I wish there were a cloud in the sky, billowing and breaking
Re-forming and shaping pictures that I see in my dreams
It's a crystal clear day and a blue afternoon
It's just a painting away from picture-perfect
I'm in Sky Meadows, it's an unrealistic day
In a real, sacred, and very antiquated place
In the barn, there's a vacant one, on the land
I can't see any animals, though I hear them to me beckon
In a great historic place, I wonder who all has seen
And knows what has happened here?
I'm turning in to head toward the trees
If I should go for a hike I think
The woods could name me "Forever"
'Cause that is where I'll always be, here, in time
I'm in Sky Meadows
I'm thoroughly restored
I wish there were a cloud in the upside down ocean
A wave that crests and breaks as it shapes the earthen shoreline
It's a bright, blazing day, and the sun almost rises
In reverse while it signs off for the day
I'm in Sky Meadows, it's a surreal day
And all the dramatic interpretation unseen
Because in a moment it turns and changes my attitude
It's a moment I won't soon fade in my mind
No brilliance in this head could brighter shine
Nothing is as vivid and as colorful as when
I'm in Sky Meadows
I can hear them all around
The vacant establishment and rolling hills
Creatures once and still sounding out
It's a bright blue day, I'm wondering why
I started out quickly, if so, quite a shame
I'm glad that I came here, though
I'm glad that I came to beautiful Sky Meadows
Leaving without a shadow in my face
I'm in Sky Meadows
I can hear them all around
The vacant establishment and rolling hills
Creatures once and still sounding out
It's a bright blue day, I'm wondering why
I started out quickly, if so, quite a shame
I'm glad that I came here, though
I'm glad that I came to beautiful Sky Meadows
Leaving without a shadow in my face
