Alienstone - Super Zombies (feat. Rob Kay) Lyrics

Alienstone - Super Zombies (feat. Rob Kay) Lyrics

Well, the same old same got too tough to take so we planned for a trip outside
Like pioneers in a maze of flames we placed our flag in the sky
We whittled for a bit before the chaos hit and the freak show had begun
Clinched a beer in our fist and with a shaking stick we went on a jungle run
I know, I know

Well, it might have been over when it started to rain but the troops were willing to fight
With a twist of a wrist and a trip to the store we got the fire to light
We burnt a bench and drank to the flames smoke had filled the air
We went to the van from the pouring rain and so we partied there
I know, I know

Wear we safer out under the sky Or in our plastic hoagie tents
A hundred cans and bottles high We built our monuments

Well, others showed up real late at night to lend a helping hand
With bad directions and no street lights they found the promise land
They took a book they said was closed and they opened it to me
And one went camping with a robot but forgot the batteries
I know, I know

Let me tell you bout' the time We went to the depths of hell
And looked a tornado in the eye Still, we're doing well

Dead soldiers lying out on the field Burning souls too close to the pit
Dawn had fought with her mace and shield but our heads would not be split
The aftermath it showed our sin but we escaped the prison cell
We had our breakfast at the damned inn and we barely made it out of hell
I know, I know

Let me tell you bout' the time we went to the depths of hell
And looked a tornado in the eye And we're doing well
I know, Super Zombies
I know, Super Zombies
