I see a groundhog as I'm riding
My bike home for Christmas this year
His furry brown fur moves upon him
As the wind blows brisk and clear
What's that he hears in the distance
Footsteps or cycles going by
He gets on his hind legs and looks for
A clear path for him to apply
He just wants it to snow
Abba father can make it so
So he raises his paws to the sky
Some clouds start to fill the day
He looks with hope as they come
But time moves on with now snow
And he knows that there may be none
It's time for his cubs to start singing
Carols of the one begotten son
The lamb slain before the ages
The bread that leaves many crumbs
He just wants it to snow
Abba father can make it so
So he raises his paws to the sky
A snowy Christmas day
And his cubs will sing "yay
Hallelujah to the one great God"
At last they see some snow flakes
Hundreds and more falling down
More snow than they could hope to count
Giving each cub her own gown
He just wants it to snow
Abba father can make it so
So he raises his paws to the sky
A snowy Christmas day
And his cubs will sing "yay
Hallelujah to the one great God
Hallelujah to the one great God"
