Do you ever think about how many times
That danger lurks around us all?
I jump in the ocean and feel a bump
It didn't feel like a friendly animal
It can't be a gator, it 's not a water snake
Definitely not something that knows how to crawl
To my left, I saw a mean old shark
Swimming at me like Jaws
I start to swim to save my life
I need an acrobatic stunt
It turns away to chase something else
It found another creature to hunt
You never know when you're not safe
Even when just passing through
You don't see the eyes that stare all the time
Something's always watching you
Feel the drips and drops of rain
As the campfire dwindles down
You just don't know what sees you out there
Carrying all those goods to the cabin in the woods
A near miss here, and then a close call there
I'm gonna get it one day if I don't take care
I crawl into bed and feel pretty good
About the peace and quiet out here
I toss and turn in bed all night
Something just doesn't seem right
I turn on the lights and to my surprise
The front door is open wide
I run to the door and get a glimpse
Of a bear running out of my view
You never know how close it gets
Somethings always watching you
I feel the breeze and see the stars
In this forest we are by ourselves
There is the moon, I breathe the air
We do not see the eyes that stare
I go to sleep and dream of us
Running through the woods and streams
I hear the leaves and see the glare but I cannot see
The eyes that stare (can't see the eyes that stare)
Everything reminds me
To look around and just see
That while the camera eye is focused on you
Nobody is looking at me
Oh how I feel good tonight
Come on baby it's alright
To take a chance, pull down your pants
Even if something is watching you
In the streets and in the halls
In the alleys and in the malls
I feel safe so I don't care
Even about, about the eyes that stare
I wake up from a dream
And noticed the audience was laughing at me
That's when I knew that they were there
All of the time
They are the eyes, the eyes that stare
