It's been a while since I last wrote

Complacency has taken me and put me in unpleasant disposition

Life had just been waiting to hit me and I think sped up the shot
Bright light's on me, got me blind and dead on the spot

Sometimes I wish I knew back then what I know now
And maybe make a difference in the way that things had played out
But I never regretted the things that i did and i knew
If i wanted to grow then I had accept it
Yes it was wrong, but I had to know that I failed so that I could pass it

Stay true to yourself and pass on what you learn
