Many long for what it offers
Climbing high above the clouds
The steep monk palace is located
Where there are no fights
Expectations of a slaughter
Their mind is turbulent and loud
But to them it seems unfair
To learn to fight without a knife
I've seen that all at first hand
Cause I had grown on this land
They used me so that they are warm
Of there houses I've held the form
And there were times in which I though
Maybe they will build a boat
And then I would see the waves
How is the ocean, how salt tastes
Sitting quiet in the grass
Learn to appreciate at first
For without noble humility
Wouldn't be a fighting thirst
Pursuing their build-in urge
Just few succeed but many fail
It is hard, the hardest thing
And no one knows if it's a tale
I've been through great and through hell
I'd been used to hurt other men
Something holy, happened then
Something that redeemed all men
Someone, somewhere sang a song
How bamboo is needed, how it's strong
And to harden his/her words
He/she began to collect stones
All the stones where then put
Carefully on each other's foot
To this day, they make a sign
Where the peace you can find
In China on a bamboo field
Where bamboo whistle relieves your fear
In China on a bamboo field
Where bamboo whistle relieves your fear
