Hurled from the golden walls
Ablaze with indignation I fall from the skye
Falling ever downwards
The descent never ends
Into the oceans of fire I plunge
As the ashes of dead gods
Burned at the stake of righteousness
Fill my lungs
Illuminate my woe, O fires of black light!
Here rest may never dwell
Eternally ruinous
The fall comes to an end
As I am cast, broken, upon this blighted shore
I make peace with Sin and Death
On my own wings I shall ascend
On the house of God, I sharpen weapons of war
I know that I must suffer, if I am to be free
Illuminate my woe, O fires of black light!
Here rest may never dwell
Eternally ruinous
As I cast a baleful gaze
About the fiery gulf
And witness scenes of sorrow, 'midst rolling smoke
I am not the only one fall'n, to be consumed by searing flames
There is no warmth left here
As I stride through the gates
