I look ahead, check my situation
But I turn instead, I'm lost with no conviction
As I look away, my thoughts dissolve to nothing
What I had to say, has faded like the moisture on my breath
I want to know the answer to my question
It sways to and fro, like the votes in an election
That what brought me here, to sit upon this sofa
