One, two
One, two, three
Winter in America
Winter in America
Here we are in America
Do you ever get the feeling that everything in America is completely f*cked up
I needed change so I moved to the States
We were leaving the rain, yeah we brought up LA
Yeah we dreamed of the coast but the price was insane
So we drove 'til our car broke, and that's where we stayed
Eh, a month exploring
Loved Seattle but we moved to Portland
Rent is cheap and the women gorgeous
Kinda makes me want to clear out my storage
Last year went by in a minute
Our apartment's small but we're lovin' it
I guess this what you call livin'
Gotta appreciate the good times that come with the struggling
Like, If this ain't nice, I don't know what is
You want kids? I'll give you kids
You followed me into America
Planned one winter, stayed 'til I married ya
Now we're living in a city made of bridges with a river in the middle and a little bit of me
Is asking where we're gonna go and will we know when it's the proper time to leave
And even if we get a sign will it align with our beliefs
And if there's nowhere else to go should we really even peace
But I lose my brain when I drag my feet
And no matter what the Province or the State that we're in
I'll always be the same person, I wanna get out my skin
I wanna get out my head! I wanna get so faded
So we're spending every dollar, every dollar that we saved
That was meant for a rainy day, it's always raining
Portland Oregon, I ain't complaining
Moved to Oregon, can't work legally
Skate at Burnside, grey sky scenery
July at the coast, I fall in love too easily
Winter in America, Win her in America
