I am an Astroneer, far away from home
Drifting through the void, just the stars and me
Looking back at Earth, a distant gleaming dome
Wondering if the stars will ever comfort me
From this distant place, where I stand
The Earth is small enough to fit in my hand
Would we change our ways, if we understood
The Earth is one, a common good
Earth in my hand, a fragile sphere
So far away, yet I hold it near
In the endless space, where silence sings
I see the beauty of all living things
Just a blue dot in the cosmic night
We're all just passengers on this cosmic ride
Just a blue dot in endless space
Why can't we see it's a fragile place
In the grand scheme of the universe wide
We're all just passengers on this cosmic ride
So let us cherish this tiny sphere
In the infinite expanse of space
For it's our home, so precious, dear
This little blue dot, our special place
Why is there so much fighting at this place
We are just a small blue dot in space
Thru the stars, our dreams should roam
Upon this little blue dot, we call home
Humanity's divided, can't seem to unite
I'm not sure I want to return to that fight
The human race has just stopped blooming
I'm not sure I want to start homeing
Just a blue dot in the cosmic night
We're all just passengers on this cosmic ride
Just a blue dot in endless space
Why can't we see it's a fragile place
In the grand scheme of the universe wide
We're all just passengers on this cosmic ride
Just a blue dot
I'm not sure I want to start homeing
I'm not sure I want to start homeing
