One winter's day, I was wasted away
When an angel spoke softly my name
She said "Come with me and I'll show you your dreams
And how your losing your fortune and fame"
"So get up on your feet," she said so tenderly
"And follow me to where I stay"
I wanted to stand, so she grabbed my by the hand
And said, "Boy, I'm gonna teach you today"
She said, "Hang on my darling,
We're going to a place that I've never shown."
It was a marvelous castle with giant gold tassels
That hung from the great wooden door
She brought me to the room where she could she everything
That lead her straight down to me
She drew back the curtains and she knew she was certain
That a change was about to come over me
I saw bright lights flashing around the room
And my mind began to go fuzzy
I saw my whole life flash before me eyes
And the path I was on would lead me dying sooner than later
Dying Sooner than later
Sooner than later
I woke up to see that it was only a dream
But my head was firing cannonballs
Some thing inside made me feeling alive
So I got up the courage to tell it all
I said, "Hey won't you listen?"
"I need your assistance, I can't do this thing on my own"
I got a good tip from an angel's lips
And I knew it was real what she'd shown
I saw bright lights flashing around the room
And my mind began to go fuzzy
I saw my whole life flash before me eyes
And the path I was on would lead me dying sooner than later
Sooner than later
Sooner than later
