AudioLogical - Why Can't We Lyrics

[ Featuring B.Aware ]

It seems lately when I rhyme it's nothing but tragic
Come to find the mind is something like magic
I waited patient for the rest of revealing
Most of life I realized is just catching a feeling
Then I found love in a package with ribbon
Let it sink in deep feet tap to the rhythm
Take your soul way back like its scratch from the kitchen
Its like the part you cant see is more than half of the vision
So I looked through my chest I could see all night
Robert Marley everything is gonna be alright
And I can prove it if you go with me
See this music is my soul and you can have it 'cuz my soul is free
I'm on the corner moving work in forms of poetry
And what you owe to me is different with the older me
Just learn to lend a hand, arm, heart shoulder please
Actions speak louder than words, no need for quoting me

If I could change this world and start a revolution I would
But I fear the instead of movement rebels shooting they foot
Nobody willing to put differences at truce for the good
So we steady breeding criminals and troops for the hood
I got fantasies of love triangles between Christians
Muslims Jews nonbelievers leaders and victims
But politicians restrict em to feverish missions
Killing each other in the name feeding Jesus' visions
As The world bleeds kneeling in the fetal position
I start to wonder if this planet ever needed religion
All it did was separate our people and teach us division
Now every creed thinking there the only people that's risen
See God only wanted our faith and We didn't listen
We built a thousand different reasons for the evil existing
Instead of looking the mirror trying to see what we given
I tell you what I'm just afraid of where we leading our children

We could change the world you understand me
We could why can't we
We could save the world
I need your hand please

Somebody ask me once if I cared whether I lived or died
It was yes until I realized that life is what you give to god
The gift you got while on this planet made you panic
Now you running round before you die trying get some god like you're an addict
Kissing crucifixes now you mister truth and wisdom
Cursing all the new religions preaching out your shoes and bridges
Even praying while you do the dishes muse is to delicious
Don't Tell me that your hands wasn't always soothed in eucalyptus
Held tight together blessing the lord to ask forgiveness
Waiting till the last minute to repent on all their past offenses
Who am I to judge for I am just a mortal heathen
Born the evening of equinox that brings the dormant season
My life began amongst the death of all the orange trees and
See the more I reason I view death as a formal greeting
With the rest of life that's blinded by my normal breathing
Strap the faith upon my back and climb the hill to mortal freedom
