Authentic Intelligence - Morning Routine Lyrics
Official

I always seem to do my writing in the morning time
Only cause my lyrics breathe and they come alive
They take on personalities and explore the lines
Between my thoughts, realities, and the true divine
Now they might say
It ain't that deep brother, you know you're lying
How many instances have gibberish, illiterate images
With no real derivatives
Only your notepads as your witness
Fine, strike it from the record then
I just be starting each day with a measurement
Of all my past decisions, and see what I need to do different
All for my lifestyle and my rhetoric
Or better yet, my betterment
As a persona non grata, forced to leave my alma mater
Without a pot or a kettle to piss in
Just a native son missing his mama
Who would rather wash his face and his hands
Clean of all drama
And focus on all the promises
For an anomalistic go-getter
Who'd rather be a blessed man than a bitter stan
Who ideas never leave Twitter, and who could never
Seem to get with the program of the morning routine
That'll take about 10 to 15
To release some positivity, and beneficial self-esteem
I mean, we always on the grind
But could never seem to find peace of mind
So if you feel what I'm feeling
Put your hands up to the ceiling
And sing it for me one time
Wake up, rub your eyes and pray
For a calm and stress-free kind of day
The past-tense had our levels on decay
But at least we can rewind and replay
Pick your clothes out
Hit the showers, brush your teeth
And be sure to devour, the morning like it's yours
Check your phone before you go
And clock in the hours
You ever wake up in a cold sweat
With a vision that you know that you gon' forget
So you forever find yourself living in the debt
Of having dreams that they say you ain't gonna get
You shake the haters off, as you chase the check
To pay for the house, and the fancy car
Chain around your neck, but did you go too far
Just to appease the sleepers, and the world at large
Now I don't mean to barge, take root and charge
You for transgressions of your purest heart
Just let me impart this small tidbit from me to you
Don't be an imitation crab for the sake of views
That'll drop real soon
Don't give up your life just to be on Zoom
Thinking about what you gon' do
When the clock runs out
Instead structure the anxious energy into a new route
Now I know you scared to break fast
'Cause you wondering if new paths trodded less often could even last
But I would say to get out your head
Tread over to the kitchen, and grab a glass of your favorite juice
Homie soothe your mind
And plan to seize the day that you've been assigned
Bruh I know you tired, and I'd be a liar
If I said your bed ain't scream and cry to get back inside
But you got a day to conquer
You gotta come up with new ways
To defeat the monsters under your psyche
'Cause it's likely that if you don't
Then they'll be there nightly
Ready to fight these ambitions out your mind
And I'm sorry if there's no peace to find
But if you feel what I'm feeling
Put your hands up to the ceiling
And sing it for me one time
Wake up, rub your eyes and pray
For a calm and stress-free kind of day
The past-tense had our levels on decay
But at least we can rewind and replay
Pick your clothes out
Hit the showers, brush your teeth
And be sure to devour, the morning like it's yours
Check your phone before you go
And clock in
Wake up rub your eyes and pray
Free kind of day
Levels on decay
Rewind and replay
Showers, devour
The morning like is yours
