Walking the store
Small list in hand
It's not even mine
That's what I don't understand
Cause I know you like that rice on aisle number five
It's next to those tortillas you've had a thousand times
But I guess it's, guess it's alright
Yea I'll get your groceries
I'll get them soon
I paid them in march and I'll pay them in June
I'll bring them home, leave em' on the stairs
Wishing you'd come out but of course, no one cares
Yea I'll bring your groceries next time you're there
Yea I'll read the list, just like I always do
And I'll want a kiss when I bring them to you
But Apples and pears, nothing compares to the way that I feel when I look at you
Yea I'll get your groceries
I'll get them soon
I paid them in march and I'll pay them in June
I'll bring them home, leave em' on the stairs
Wishing you'd come out but of course, no one cares
Yea I'll bring your groceries next time you're there
Store bought dough and Babybel cheese
I wish I could stop but you do this to me
And we'd always walk along, we'd laugh and we shout
Spilt the milk on the floor, escape out the door
But I always wanted so much more
Yea I drop you home, just look at you and say
"Yea, I'll get your groceries...anytime you need"
"Just write up a list and make sure to say please"
