Leslie Odom Jr. to Return as Aaron Burr in Hamilton on Broadway for the First Time in Almost a Decade

After almost a full decade away from the character, Leslie Odom Jr. is set to reprise his role as Aaron Burr for an upcoming run of Hamilton on Broadway.
Odom originally played the role during the earliest days of Hamilton, following the production on its ascent from off-Broadway to the Great White Way. After winning a Tony for his performance in 2016, the performer left the show to pursue other projects. Now, he'll return as Aaron Burr for a limited run of Hamilton at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, with dates running from September 9th through November 23rd.
"Returning to Hamilton is a deeply meaningful homecoming," Odom said of his return. "I'm so grateful for the chance to step back into the room - especially during this anniversary moment - and to revisit this brilliant piece that forever changed my life and the lives of so many."
