This is a transmission from DSM number 5
The vessel is damaged but some are still alive
Adrift in the nothing of space and time
And we still don't know the real reasons why
They once built machines to lift us up
And one by one they gained our trust
But soon they poisoned our sea and land
Tearing at the fabric of modern man
Dependencies would misplace our love
As they bared their teeth and turned on us
As many fell there were some that would flee
Before flesh and bone would cease to be
