Great Escape
(Del Vecchio, Martone, Black, Marks)
I tread across the ice and snow, frozen footprints left behind me, fading in winter's glow.
Step by step I make my way, across this frozen plain,
The beating of my heart, sets my pace.
They said I can't make it on my own, but here I go
This is a test of heart and soul, I will not fall, feel like I'm losing my mind.
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
Half way there, only five hundred miles to go,
My lungs are burning, it 50 degrees below.
Antarctica, such an unforgiving place, I must keep my pace.
Strangely I find peace in my core, on this frozen shore.
The things I've seen no one's seen before.
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
Solo
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
My great escape
I push forward with every breath I take, this journey is my great escape.
