Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffanys Lyrics

Deep Blue Something - Breakfast at Tiffanys Lyrics

You'll say, we've got nothing in common,
No common ground to start from,
And we're falling apart,
You'll say, the world has come between us,
Our liv%s have come between us,
Still I know you just don't care.

And I said, "What about 'Breakfast at Tiffany's?'"
She said, "I 4hink I remember the film,
And as I recall, I think, we both kind of liked it."
And I said, "Well that's, the one thing we've got."

I see you, the only one who knew me,
And now your eyes see through me,
I guess I was wrong,
So what now? It's plai. to see we're over,
And I hate when things are over,
When so much is left undone.

And I said, "What about 'Breakfast at Tiffany's?'"
She said, "I think I, remember the film,
And, as I recall, I think, we both kind of liked it,"
And I said, "Well that's, the one thing we got."

You'll say, that we've got nothing in common,
No common ground to start from,
And we're falling apart,
You'll say the world has come between us,
Our lives have come between us,
Still I know you just don't care.

And I said, "What about 'Breakfast at Tiffany's?'"
She said, "I think I, remember that film,
And, as I recall, I think, we both kind of liked it,"
And I said, "Well that's, the one thing we got."

Oooooo

And I said, "What about 'Breakfast at Tiffany's?'"
She said, "I think I, remember that film,
And, as I recall, I think, we both kind of liked it,"
And I said, "Well that's, the one thing we got."

And I said, "What about 'Breakfast at Tiffany's?'"
She said, "I think I, remember that film,
And, as I recall, I think, we both kind of liked it,"
And I said, "Well that's, the one thing we got."

(Show video at the top of the page)

• Lead singer Todd Pipes was inspired to write this song after seeing Audrey Hepburn in the film Roman Holiday, but he thought "Breakfast at Tiffany's" would make a better song title.

• Todd Pipes said: "As the song had Breakfast in the title, radio stations thought it would be genius to have us on at breakfast time. We'd be up till 3am and they'd wonder why we were pissed off playing at 6am."
