When I was just a little kid I would get quite scared
In the middle of the night I'd get these night terrors
Look into my closet and I'd see these bright stares
Couldn't tell if it was real or it's a nightmare
Then one day my momma took me to the circus
I saw this man with a painted face who was falling down on purpose
So I started laughing thought it was funny on the surface
But this feeling in my stomach it was swerving had me nervous, cuz
When I looked into his eyes it rang a bell
Like I seen em somewhere but I just couldn't tell
Next thing I knew it's they was casting a spell
Them pair of eyes had me paralyzed like I'm trapped in hell, clowns
Why they always freaking me out?
Even when I'm sleeping it's like they seeking me out
Like they in my closet peeping me and it's creeping me out
It's tweakin me out, you outta know I'm speakin about them clowns
A couple of decades had past now I'm a man and I'm grown
And you betta bet yo ass that I'm like a king on a throne
Anybody want beef I'll serve it up on a platter
I'm a beast in the streets that's just a fact of the matter
So I was doin what I do on a daily
Maneuverin with them shooters makin gouda like crazy
Nothin out of the ordinary and so I proceed
Till I see these pair of eyes they was staring at me
Painted face red hair and a big red nose
Twisting balloons till they looked like a big red rose
He tried to hand it to me like I want it or something
I punched him right inside his face and then I took off runnin I hate clowns
