Dremmz - conveyor (frame ii) Lyrics

Man, who the f*ck said I can't rap
Stupid motherf*cker
This panorama
Play this shit for your grandma
This the mixtape, baby
I promise you it gets better
Just wait for the Red Shepherd

Situation's been overwhelmingly positive lately
Went to NYC hoping to escape my complacency
Now I'm back in Indiana still feeling the same
Like I know deep down in my heart that something big is gonna change

So I search for it daily
Tryna put myself in new experiences hoping to find inspiration
Wasting months at a time convincing myself that I am crazy
Being out the box ain't easy being so ahead of your time frame

Everybody look at you like you're the imposter
And you got no vision
Painting you as the monster
Energy slipping
I can't keep my eyes open anymore
Caffeine don't hit the same anymore

I love living the good life
But ain't nothing to write about
Unless it comes rooted from pain and strife
Oddly I'm begging to feel an obstacle for once
This year's been so successful but I ain't felt enough

I sit down in the same office chair I make Gratorius in
Thinking about the time gap
I need a new setting
I need a new roof
I need some new friends
I need some new truth

Just last week
I finally took the red shirt off and threw my nametag
I ain't felt freedom like this in so long

Laws of the lands
Keep me up at night
They love, they love to see me crazy
But lately you don't know

But now the budget been inches from the bottom of barrel
And I'm depending on selling my own apparel
Knowing nobody actually knows me
I got a couple fans but not enough homies

I've been isolated I can't even explain it
I've been used my options up still we haven't made it
And I'll admit
Even after releasing I Believe In You
I'm still contemplated
Wondering if my art is truly a benefit to humanity
It feel like Uncle Sam done sucked me back into reality

Going against everything that I stand for
I feel it heating up from my soul like a tandoor
We done planned one, planned two, planned three, this is plan four
To solidify the reason I'm here for, love

So until then I'm still poor
Spending every second I get trying to build the world we strive for
A world where people choose to pitch in to help
In return, being knocked off the conveyor belt, okay
