Sky so dreary here today
Cold to the bone, to my dismay
Mando won't sing nothing but the blues
Thought I'd sit down to write a rhyme
But I just can't keep it on my mind
Ain't heard a peep this morning From my muse
How to shrug the melancholies
Where to go to get my jollies
And keep the weary blues from hangin' 'round
Folded arms and vacant stares
Daydreams vanished in the air
I'm trying to find a spark I can surround
Outside views in two dimension
Did in all my good intentions
And not much I can do about it now
Maybe sit and write a tune
Just to brighten up the afternoon
Forget about the mood out there Somehow
