Living life on the edge of a heartbreak
Some have nowhere to turn
They wish someone would reach out to them
We pass people on the street each day. They wonder
Where is our source of joy?
And why won't we share some of it with them?
If we've got all the answers
Why can't we provide solutions?
We look at life with blinders on
We see no one but ourselves
Why can't we help the man who's fallen down?
Instead we point out his faults to him
How will that help him out?
Shouldn't he know us by the love we share?
If he's looking for a savior
Will he find that savior in us?
We need love for one another
We need to show them that the Lord's alive and well
We're all sisters and brothers
We need love for one another
I've never thought of myself as an example
Of what a Christian should be
I'll admit I'm not perfect
But I started thinking about those who don't know him
Do they know he lives in me?
Can I show them who he really is?
If they can't find him in me
Tell me, where will they turn?
We need love for one another
We need to show them that the Lord's alive and well
We're all sisters and brothers
We need love for one another
Do we love (As Jesus loved)?
Do we show (That we care)?
Can we make a difference with the love we share?
We need love
We need love for one another
We need to show them that the Lord's alive and well
We're all sisters and brothers
We need love for one another
