In the streets of our suburbs
Roamed a squattish dog black and white
OssiHarryMax his name we heard
In the golden glow of dawn's first light
With thick fur as dark as midnight's cloak
And patches as white as winter's snow
He would chase the butterflies that spoke
Of dreams in fields where wildflowers grow
We called him Ossi
She called him Harry
He called him Max
And so it would be
Through the paved streets and parks so green
OssiHarryMax on leash he roamed
In his brown eyes a knowledge so keen
Underneath the sky's expansive dome
His bark not a melody sweet and clear
Echoing through the city's expanse
He'd run with joy devoid of fear
In his heart an eternal romance
We called him Ossi
She called him Harry
He called him Max
And so it would be
From dawn till dusk he'd romp and play
His spirit wild his presence grand
In every heart he found a way
To leave his paw print on the land
So here's to OssiHarryMax our friend
Whose memory we'll forever hold
In every tale his spirit we'll send
In black and white a legend bold
We called him Ossi
She called him Harry
He called him Max
And so it would be
In the quiet streets of our minds
His spirit lives on ever bright
OssiHarryMax forever a friend
In the hearts of all in black and white
