Hardy - The Mockingbird & The Crow Album Lyrics

Hardy - The Mockingbird & The Crow Lyrics

beer

Seventeen
Since the night we met, man, we been thick as thieves
It was you and me
Howling at the moon
Every Friday night from Hank to Blink-182
I was right there with you

In the back of a truck, every buck and bass
Tractor tire fire, touchdown pass
Up and down roads we rode around
Picking me up, setting me down

All the crazy things we been through
In this dry-on-Sunday-town
All the trouble I got you into
It's a wonder you kept me around
I'm damn proud to have your back, boy
Like I have for all these years
And I'll be here 'til the factory quits making me
Sincerely, Beer

Twenty-three
Remember that Oxford night you had like six of me?
And then I saw you see
The prettiest thing you'd seen before
I helped you her get out there on the floor
Brought one of me out to her old man
'Fore you asked to put that rock on her hand

All the crazy things we been through
In this dry on Sunday town
All the trouble I got you into
It's a wonder you kept me around
I'm damn proud to have your back boy
Like I have for all these years
And I'll be here 'til the factory quits making me
Sincerely, Beer

I just wanna say thanks
For the damn good times
And the memories made
Well, anyway
I'll see you later on tonight
Woo

All the crazy things we been through
In this dry on Sunday town
All the trouble I got you into
It's a wonder you kept me around
I'm damn proud to have your back, boy
Like I have for all these years
And I'll be here 'til the factory quits making me
Sincerely, Beer

(I just wanna say thanks)
(For the damn good times)
(And the memories made)
(Well, anyway)
(I'll see you later on tonight)

Sincerely, Beer

red

Red
I'm talking 'bout the sun coming up and the sun going down
On a John Deere, turning up a hard work check
Making that blue collar country boy's neck
Red
I'm talking 'bout the color of them jerseys on a Friday night
At the end of another long, hot, dry summer
'Tween the dust and the rust, the trucks are half covered in red

Like a bloodhound
Tracking some whitetail buck down

I ain't talking politics, I'm talking small town
And if you're from one, you know what I'm talking 'bout
It's everywhere, I swear, from the courthouse bricks
To a crushed Bud heavy can fading in the ditch
Like the book of John, like a barn door
And hearts your hand's over 'cause you're thankful for
Every shipped off soul that was born to fight
For a wind-torn flag that's blue and white and red

Red
I'm talkin' 'bout a county line stop sign full of birdshot
The cup your beer's in sitting 'round a fire
Like your bank account when you bought them tires
That led
You down a dirt road and got some red lips leaning 'cross the console

I ain't talking politics, I'm talking small town
And if you're from one, you know what I'm talking 'bout
It's everywhere, I swear, from the courthouse bricks
To a crushed Bud heavy can fading in the ditch
Like the book of John, like a barn door
And hearts your hand's over 'cause you're thankful for
Every shipped off soul that was born to fight
For a wind-torn flag that's blue and white and red

It don't matter who you are, got your back if that's what you need
'Cause at the end of the day
Hey, we all bleed
Red

I ain't talking politics, I'm talking small town
And if you're from one, you know what I'm talking 'bout
It's everywhere, I swear, from the courthouse bricks
To a crushed Bud heavy can fading in the ditch
Like the book of John, like a barn door
And hearts your hand's over 'cause you're thankful for
Every shipped off soul that was born to fight
For a wind-torn flag that's blue and white and red

Yeah, a wind-torn flag that's blue and white and red
Yeah, a wind-torn flag that's blue and white and red

wait in the truck

I got turned around in some little town
I'd never been to before
Working my way through a middle of June
Midnight thunderstorm
There was something in the headlights
It stopped me on a dime
Well, she was scared to death
So I said "Climb in" and in she climbed
Oh, yeah

Well, she was bruised and broke from head to toe
With a tear in her blood stained shirt
She didn't tell the whole truth but she didn't have to
I knew what had happened to her
I didn't load her down with questions
That girl had been through enough
I just threw it in drive, looked in those eyes
And I asked her where he was

I don't know if he's an angel
'Cause angels don't do what he did
He was hellbent to find the man behind
All the whiskey scars I hid
I never thought my day of justice
Would come from a judge under a seat
But I knew right then I'd never get hit again
When he said to me

"Wait in the truck"
"Just wait in the truck"

Well, I knocked and knocked and no one came
So I kicked in his double wide door
I let the hammer drop before he got
To that 12 he was reaching for
I didn't try to hide my pistol
I didn't even try to run
I just sat on the porch, smoking one of his cigarettes
And waited for the cops to come

I don't know if he's an angel
'Cause angels don't do what he did
He was hellbent to find the man behind
All the whiskey scars I hid
I never thought my day of justice
Would come from a judge under a seat
But I knew right then I'd never get hit again
When he said to me

"Wait in the truck"
"Just wait in the truck"
Whoa (oh)
Have mercy on me, Lord
Have mercy on me
Have mercy on me (oh), Lord

It's been sixty months and she still comes
To see me from time to time
It was worth the price, to see a brighter side
Of the girl I picked up that night
And I might be here forever
It ain't paradise that's true
But it's a whole hell of a lot better
Than the place I sent him to, yeah

(Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on me)
Wait in the truck (have mercy on me)
Just wait in the truck
(Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on me)
Wait in the truck (Lord, have mercy)
Just wait in the truck
(Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on me)
Have mercy on me, Lord
Have mercy on me
(Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on me)
Have mercy on me, Lord
(Have mercy on me)
(Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on me)
Wait in the truck
Just wait in the truck
(Have mercy, have mercy, have mercy on me)
Wait in the truck (please, have mercy)
Just wait in the truck (please, have mercy)

drink one for me

I hope that you hear this
When you're fishing off the pier
Or listening to Skynyrd jacked up at the skinning rack
Caping out a ten point deer
And I know that you got some
In a beat up blue ice chest
Just know I'm sorry I couldn't make it to the party
Could you do me a cold one request?

Drink one for me
Drink one for me
Just know I'd be there holding one in the air
If I didn't have somewhere to be
When you hit that 7-11
Get a little more than you think you need
I hate to tell you but they ain't got beer in Heaven
So boys when you drink one
Drink one for me
Drink one for me

I guess God forgave me
For every one too many buzz
'Cause I'm up here now
Smiling, looking down at all of y'all catching one
So if you don't mind
I hope you don't mind
Getting a little more drunk

Drink one for me
Drink one for me
Just know I'd be there holding one in the air
If I didn't have somewhere to be
When you hit that 7-11
Get a little more than you think you need
I hate to tell you but they ain't got beer in Heaven
So boys when you drink one
Drink one for me

And I begged Jesus when I got here
To send me back for just one night
'Cause I didn't know that last beer
Was the last beer of my life
He said, "They'll be fine without you"
"Just give them a couple years"
But if there's one way to keep my memory alive
'Til the day y'all meet me here it's

Drink one for me
Drink one for me
Just know I'd be there holding one in the air
If I didn't have somewhere to be
When you hit that 7-11
Get a little more than you think you need
I hate to tell you but they ain't got beer in Heaven
So boys when you drink one
Drink one for me
Drink one for me, yeah

I hope that you hear this
When you're fishing off the pier
Or listening to Skynyrd, jacked up at the skinning rack
Caping out a ten point deer

i in country

What's the point of forty acres
If you got it all to yourself
What's singing along to a Strait song
If you ain't singing with no one else
I ain't ever seen a pick up without a shotgun seat
And I never looked at it that way
'Til the day you looked at me

I know how to build a house on a hill, but what would that be worth?
If I come back home and swing alone on my little piece of earth
Yeah, the more it turned, the more I learned
No matter what I do
There ain't no I in country, but there's a Y-O-U

Yeah, I light up when you catch one
Hell, it's the background on my phone
And now I can't stand sittin' in a stand
If I'm sitting in it all alone
I could break some ground, build half the town
Like a blue collar dream come true
Yeah, I can make a name, but what's a name
Without a country girl to give it to? Yeah

I know how to build a house on a hill, but what would that be worth?
If I come back home and swing alone on my little piece of earth
Yeah, the more it turned, the more I learned
No matter what I do
There ain't no I in country, but there's a Y-O-U, yeah
A Y-O-U

When it comes to Sunday morning
I've always thanked the Lord
But ever since you
I've got a reason to
Thank him even more

I know how to build a house on a hill, but what would that be worth?
If I come back home and swing alone on my little piece of earth
Yeah, the more it turned, the more I learned
No matter what I do
There ain't no I in country, but there's a Y-O-U
There ain't no I in country, but there's a Y-O-U
You, yeah, yeah

screen

Screen
Someone somewhere bought a brand new rifle
Pointed at a man, holding a bible
So sad, you won't believe it
But I swear to God, I've seen it
Right there on a TV screen
Shooting star, all burning up the night sky
Something someone sees once in a lifetime
You gotta look on up 'fore it's gone
But damn, if we ain't fixed on
A good-for-nothing cellphone screen

See the world, take it in, catch a sunrise
With your own eyes

I wanna drive, wanna run 'til the wires run out
I need to heal, need to feel like I'm alive right now
Pull the plug, just shatter the glass
Make it stop, these days under a rock doesn't sound half bad
Put me alone, singing 'long to a red bird song
I wanna live like they did in the great unknown
Yeah, if you need me I'll be watching the storm
Somewhere from a chair just staring through a back porch
Screen

A baseball getting dusty at a Walmart
Could send a kid all the way to Wrigley ballpark
Might be a hall of fame one
The whole world knows his name one
But he'd rather hit a homerun on a screen

I wanna drive, wanna run till the wires run out
I need to heal, need to feel, like I'm alive right now
Pull the plug, just shatter the glass
Make it stop, these days under a rock doesn't sound half bad
Put me alone, singing 'long to a red bird song
I wanna live like they did in the great unknown
Yeah, if you need me, I'll be watching the storm
Somewhere from a chair just staring through a back porch screen

Take a good look out the window
Keep it in your pocket at the rock show
Just give it a try
Every battery does but your memory will never die

I wanna drive, wanna run 'til the wires run out
I need to heal, need to feel, like I'm alive right now
Pull the plug, just shatter the glass
Make it stop, these days under a rock doesn't sound half bad
Put me alone, singing 'long to a red bird song
I wanna live like they did in the great unknown
Yeah, if you need me, I'll be watching the storm
Somewhere from a chair just staring through a back porch
Screen
Yeah, through a back porch screen
See the world, take it in, catch a sunrise

happy

Happy lives all around the world
Inside of every boy and girl, yeah
Dollar bills and gold and pearls
Ain't never been his style

And Happy's always by your side
Never not willing to provide
But if you abuse him for the night
He don't show for a while

Well, Happy don't have lies to tell
He doesn't want nothing from no one else and he
Never does concern himself with who's right or wrong
Happy don't like alcohol
Bitterness or cruel at all
But when he hears love sing through the wall
Well, Happy sings along

My old friend
Where has the time gone?
We were thick as thieves
Until hate came along
What a mess
We've gotten into
Hey Happy, why can't everybody just be
You?

Well, Happy sits there patiently
In line behind jealousy
Waiting on a humble epiphany
That your grass might be greener
And Happy's never liked the view
Of "I ain't good enough" Avenue
'Cause you can bet if you don't like you, you don't like Happy neither

Oh, my old friend
Where has the time gone?
We were thick as thieves
Until hate came along
What a mess
We've gotten into
Hey Happy, why can't everybody just be you?

These days, Happy spends his time
Beating on the door of most folks' minds
Knowing he's about to hit his finish line
If we don't let him in
But that ain't up to him, nah

My old friend
Where has the time gone?
We were thick as thieves
Until hate came along
What a mess
We've gotten into
Hey Happy, why can't everybody just be you?
Why can't everybody just be you?
Why can't everybody just be
You?

Here lies country music

Well here lies country music
Had a damn good run
It took its last Nashville lap around a Ring of Fire sun
Jack Daniel's in the front row
Right next to steel guitar
The headline said, the cause of death was a lonely broken heart

'Cause you can't cheat on the radio
Or be proud of where you're from
Trucks ran out of red dirt roads and beer quit getting you drunk
Yeah, the thing about all good things is they all come to an end
So here lies country music
Rest easy, my old friend, yeah

It had a couple close calls
With names that I won't mention
But it stayed strong with Always On My Mind and Family Tradition
Helped people through some hard times
More times than you can count
So you hate to see three chords and the truth, six feet in the ground

'Cause you can't cheat on the radio
Or be proud of where you're from
Trucks ran out of red dirt roads and beer quit getting you drunk
Yeah, the thing about all good things is they all come to an end
So here lies country music
Rest easy, my old friend, oh

I woke up in a cold sweat
To my alarm clock radio
A new song came on about a honkytonk drunk heart that just got broke
And I said, "Thank you, Jesus"
That dream was all made up
And I pray that I leave this world before country music does

When you can't cheat on the radio
Or be proud of where you're from
When trucks run out of red dirt roads and beer quits getting you drunk
Yeah, I'll tell you some crazy words I never wanna say again
Here lies country music
Rest easy, my old friend
And thank you, country music
Amen

SOLD OUT

Gold records on my sheetrock
Not bad for a boy from Mississippi
Yeah, I can buy a Maybach
But I'm still in my F-150

And my last name
Is a whole lot bigger than I thought it'd be
A lotta things changed
Except one thing, me

I'm still the same old redneck f*ck, don't give a damn
Ain't afraid to throw a dead buck on my Instagram
Grain alcohol in my cup, got the whole house
Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out

Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out
Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out

Yeah, middle finger to the sky, buddy that's right
I don't sprinkle Dixie Crystal on my half-time (yeah)
Keep your in crowd, I'll be the outcast
I'll be country 'til I'm dead, that's on my last name

My last name
Is a whole lot bigger than I thought it'd be
A lotta things change
But if there's something you should know about me

I'm still the same old redneck f*ck, don't give a damn
Ain't afraid to throw a dead buck on my Instagram
Grain alcohol in my cup, got the whole house
Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out (yeah)

Yeah, wall to wall and I still ain't sold out
Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out

Yeah, middle finger to the sky 'til I'm gone and dead
.44 in the Ford for the copperheads
Alcohol in my cup, got the whole house
Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out

Middle finger to the sky 'til I'm gone and dead
.44 in the Ford for the copperheads
Alcohol in my cup, got the whole house
Wall to wall and I still ain't sold out

JACK

Hey, kid, let me introduce myself
I's a friend of your dad's when he had no one else
I'll put the party in your life, boy, you know I can
Have you ever wanted to feel like superman?

Oh
Oh

I see that blonde hair over there looking at you
You wanna say "what's up?" but can't work up the courage to
But if you stick with me, buddy, you can bet your life
She'll be walking out with you by the end of the night, so

Don't listen to mama, hell, I ain't the devil
Ditch me when you wanna but if you need a little
I can fix your problems, I always got your back
I can make you famous, by the way my name is

Shit
It ain't my place but I gotta admit

All the people in your circle, man, they're pissing me off
Say you're broken and you're soulless and it's all my fault
So tell me, old friend, is it such a sin?
All I did was make you happy, so to hell with them, and

Don't listen to mama, hell, I ain't the devil
Ditch me when you wanna but if you need a little
I can fix your problems, I always got your back
I can make you famous, by the way my name is

Yeah

Yeah, yeah
It's been a hell of a ride, kid, don't you agree?
Yeah, yeah
Rock bottom ain't as bad when you're rocking with me
When you're rocking with me, so

Don't listen to mama, hell, I ain't the devil
Ditch me when you wanna but if you need a little
I can fix your problems, I always got your back
I can make you famous, by the way my name is
By the way my name is, by the way my name is

TRUCK BED

I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
With a bone-dry bottle of Jack I was pourin'
Damn, she got some nerve way she kicked me to the curb
Guess you could say I got what I deserve
'Cause I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
Yeah

She said, "Don't come home if you go to the bar"
So I said, "Okay, baby" then got drunk out in the yard
2 AM I knock-knock-knock up on the door
But she never unlock-locked it, guess I don't live there no more
Yeah, she meant business this time
I can't believe my bloodshot eyes

I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
With a bone-dry bottle of Jack I was pourin'
Damn, she got some nerve way she kicked me to the curb
Guess you could say I got what I deserve
'Cause I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
Yeah

I used that empty bag of corn to rest my head
A camo jacket for a blanket then passed out like I was dead
Still got one heck of a buzz
If I look-like a trainwreck it's because

I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
With a bone-dry bottle of Jack I was pourin'
Damn, she got some nerve way she kicked me to the curb
Guess you could say I got what I deserve
'Cause I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin', yeah
I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin', yes, I did

I can't believe I gotta be at work at nine
That f*ckin' bird's about to catch this .45
Oh, I guess if this really is goodbye
At least I took my boots off this time, uh

I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
With a bone-dry bottle of Jack I was pourin'
Damn she got some nerve way she kicked me to the curb
Guess you could say I got what I deserve
I woke up on the wrong side of the truck bed this mornin'
With a bone-dry bottle of Jack I was pourin'
Damn she got some nerve way she kicked me to the curb

.30-06

I came home, buck in the back
She's on the porch with her bags packed
She's had enough, she's over me
Spending too much time in a pine tree

She took it out of my truck
Drove off like Joe Nemacheck
She thought it would kill me but what's
One less .30-06 to a redneck?

What's one less .30-06 to a redneck?
What's one less .30-06 to a redneck?

She's probably at some gun and pawn
Laughing 'cause my automatic's gone
Bet she could get about a rack or so
Enough to fill her up and get her where she's gotta go

But she ain't messed my season up
I had a backup under my bed
Go on and pawn it 'cause what's
One less .30-06 to a redneck?

What's one less .30-06 to a redneck?
What's one less .30-06 to a redneck?

Yeah, you can bet your corn pile and your honey hole
I'll be back in the woods by tomorrow
It's gonna hit her 'bout 10 AM when she
Sees another dead buck on my Instagram

'Cause what's one less .30-06 to a redneck?

She never opened it but
There's three more in my safe on deck
She thought it would kill me but what's
One less .30-06 to a redneck?

I AINT IN THE COUNTRY NO MORE

I packed my only guitar
In my Chevy Silverado
I drove down to the corner store
Gassed up and headed North
Said goodbye to mom and pops
Church parking lots, roadblocks, and potholes
Left the name my mama gave me
Right there rocking on the porch

Whoa
I never seen so much concrete before
I ain't in the country no more

I got woke up this morning to a choir of singing sirens
I went out barefoot to watch 'em go by
Cut my foot on sidewalk glass
Gave a hungry man a dollar
He was begging, he was crying
A little later on, he was drinking on
A forty in a paper sack

Whoa
I never been got like that before
I guess I ain't in the country no more
No, I ain't in the country no more

Nobody talks like I do
Nobody here at all
No, hell yeah, hey y'all
But oh, this raised on hard work boy's
Gonna live a dream 'til he dies
I wish I was, but I ain't in the country no more
In the country no more

Go

I'm damn proud of my roots
My red wing boots and my blue collar
This chip here on my shoulder is a town I can't let down
Lord knows I ain't no Jesus but I'll proudly be the martyr
Spread the word about that nowhere place that makes the world go 'round

Whoa
I ain't in the country no more
No, I ain't in the country no more

Nobody talks like I do
Nobody here at all
No, hell yeah, hey y'all
But oh, this raised on hard work boy's
Gonna live a dream 'til he dies
I wish I was, but I ain't in the country no more
In the country no more
Go

No, I ain't in the country no more
Woo

RADIO SONG

There's gotta be a truck
There's gotta be a girl
She's gotta be hot and you gotta rhyme that shit with world
And it can't be too fake but it can't be too real
Gotta make 'em tap they're feet or I'll lose my record deal
So I just sat down with some dudes that wrote some hits
We put our heads together for a second and it goes like this

Baby, what you think about getting outta here?
Get you outta this bar, girl, get to switching gears
In my Chevy, there's a Yeti in the back with some beer
We can park in the dark, get our dirt road on
Oh
Everybody knows how it goes
Kiss you in the moonlight glow
Sitting shotty, everybody sing along
Well, this ain't no radio song

F*ck

Well, if it ain't under four minutes, it ain't gon' be a hit
If there ain't no steel in it, they ain't gon' play your shit
And I wish I could tell it like it is but the cold hard fact is I can't
So bring that money maker back

Baby, what you think about getting outta here?
Get you outta this bar, girl, get to switching gears
In my Chevy, there's a Yeti in the back with some beer
We can park in the dark, get our dirt road on
Oh
Everybody knows how it goes
Kiss you in the moonlight glow
Sitting shotty, everybody sing along
Well, this ain't no radio song

F*ck
Well, this ain't no radio song
Yeah
Let's f*cking go (ooh, yeah)
Well, this ain't no radio song (f*ck)
Well, this ain't no radio song (this ain't no radio song)
F*ck

Baby, what you think about getting outta here?
Get you outta this bar, girl, get to switching gears
In my Chevy, there's a Yeti in the back with some beer
We can park in the dark, get our dirt road on
Oh
Everybody knows how it goes
Kiss you in the moonlight glow
Sitting shotty, everybody sing along
Well, this ain't a motherf*ckin' radio song

Well this ain't no radio song

Kill Shit Till I Die

When I was a boy
My pop bought me a gun
Said, "Son, this ain't no toy
It's time you learn to hunt
Buy bullets by the case
Put em' up on your shelf
'Cause there's a chance one day that
This world's gonna go to hell"

And he's damn sure proud of me
'Cause now my philosophy is

If it ain't loaded, better rack one
Get a bloodhound that'll track one
Every buck could be your last one
When there's bombs up in the sky
You won't find me strapped for back strap
Crying at that crashing Nasdaq
You can bet your country ass that
I'ma kill shit 'til I die
Die
Kill shit 'til I die
Die (kill shit 'til I)

You ain't gotta listen to me
But you better find you some land
'Cause you ain't gonna live off mine
When the Walmarts hit the fan
So corn up all your feeders
Show up before the sun
And son, when you fill that freezer
Go get you another one

If it ain't loaded, better rack one
Get a bloodhound that'll track one
Every buck could be your last one
When there's bombs up in the sky
You won't find me strapped for back strap
Crying at that crashing Nasdaq
You can bet your country ass that
I'ma kill shit 'til I die
Die
Kill shit 'til I die
Die (kill shit 'til I)

If it ain't loaded, better rack one
Get a bloodhound that'll track one
Every buck could be your last one
When there's bombs up in the sky
You won't find me strapped for back strap
Crying at that crashing Nasdaq
You can bet your country ass that
I'ma kill shit 'til I die (die, die)
Kill shit 'til I die (die)
Die

Kill shit 'til I (die, die, die, die)
Kill shit 'til I (die, die, die, die)
Kill shit 'til I

THE REDNECK SONG

Bisquick on the cast iron
Dip spit on my collar
I'm podunk proud and I'll shout it so loud
You can hear it way down in the holler
I'm a redneck
I'm a redneck
I'll carve it in a cottonwood tree
With my redneck knife
Yeah, the redneck life is the only life for me

I get clear from a still
I drink beer, eat deer that I kill
A bug zapper's in my windowsill
To keep the sundown skeeters at bay

I catch cats with a jug
My truck nuts stay covered in mud
I chew tobacco like a cow does cud
And I wouldn't have it any other way
'Cause there's

Bisquick on the cast iron
Dip spit on my collar
I'm podunk proud and I'll shout it so loud
You can hear it way down in the holler
I'm a redneck
I'm a redneck
There's a shotgun in my shotgun seat
'Cause if it flies, it dies
Yeah, the redneck life is the only life for me

Moon Pie dessert, largemouth wall art
Earnhardt T-shirt, bought it at the Walmart
Chickens in the pen, cock-a-doodle when the dog bark
Ain't all kin but we're somewhere in the ballpark, and there's

Bisquick on the cast iron
Dip spit on my collar
I'm podunk proud and I'll shout it so loud
You can hear it way down in the holler
I'm a redneck
I'm a redneck
Bury me in the back forty
By my redneck wife
'Cause the redneck life is the only life for me, yeah

Yo-ho-ho and a bottle of Dew
Mix it with a trickle of Dickel or two
And when the Mountain Dew and the Dickel's all gone
We'll all be drunk and we'll sing this song

Bisquick on the cast iron
Dip spit on my collar
I'm podunk proud and I'll shout it so loud
You can hear it way down in the holler
I'm a redneck
I'm a redneck
And to you I might never not be
Just a stereotype
But the redneck life is the only life for me
