A lazy light
Is reaching out
From a tired morning sun
Sending the night on the run
Slowly she rise
With colours pouring out of her eyes
Like fields of flowers
In the morning hours
Comes out of dreaming
A fire blossoming
Devouring the dawn
And breaks out into the day
Polyphonous melodies
Sung amongst the canopy
Reverberating
Between the ground underneath
Just as one began to wonder
She woke up out of slumber
A lazy light
Is taking flight
Heading for the evening sun
Returning back to where it came from
Slowly again
She'll begin to descend
A flaming flower
Is getting tired
Happens all the time
That it slips away
Growing older now
Both tomorrow and today
Oh if you're listening
To the birds singing
Although it's distant
Reverberating
Just as thoughts begin to wander
Drifting back into a slumber
