He started playing guitar with the family band (the Munsick Boys) at the age of ten and eventually began writing his own songs, which drew from a wide array of genres, including pop, rock, country, and hip-hop.
Looking to make his own mark in the music scene, he later relocated to Nashville and released an eponymous debut EP in 2017, which included the iHeartRadio Rocky Mountain Song of the Year-winning single "Horses Are Faster."
He released his wide-ranging major-label debut, Coyote Cry, in 2021.
