COLORS OF THE MOON
It's a styrofoam seascape, surrounding walls of insane sound
There is a perfect reason, to believe just what we see
A revitalized dreamer, comin' back for an encore
Take a bow, take it now, while the feelin' remains
What one loses, the other will gain
Want not to be another, just play your only refrain
A bleeding heart, is hardly heard, above the din
A flowin' river, of heartfelt emotion
Will it become dogma, or simply run to the sea
So follow the seasons, and resist the next wrong turn
You know the sun, soothes the soul, a soul mired in pollution
What if this wall no one sees behind, is nothing more than illusion?
Maybe hope despite logical conclusion, is the solution
I say the truth is the wind, a wind barely felt
It's a ragged barricade, to lies and wherever they lead
Can you see the colors of the moon
Want not, to be another
Reveal colors of the moon
Just play your only refrain
Won't you see the colors of the moon
Be one within yourself, and see the colors of the moon
A bleeding heart, is hardly heard, above the din
