Jabalord - Virus: Extinct Lyrics

Well I finally heard back from somewhere
That I put an app
At a 7-11 fifteen miles from my house
I'm really not happy about it
But I can't afford to pay my rent
Can you believe they're still asking
For rent in a time like this?
Yeah neither can I
I throw on my polo and name tag
And give my girlfriend a kiss goodbye

As I pull in I see
A homeless man looking up at me
He covered his mouth
With his hand as he coughed
He gave my arm a pat as I walked
Into the store, I thought nothing about it
As my nerves got the best of me
I haven't worked in nearly six whole weeks

Three weeks later, I hit the floor
I'm boiling hot while customers pour
Into my line why can't they see
I'm keeled over and in agony
I hear a customer yell out to my boss
"Hey sir, can we get help here?"
He shouts out for my name but doesn't
Make a f*cking move

The world is spinning and the smell of fresh opened Pokemon
Cards hit me like a speeding train, the world is going dark
There's cotton in my ears
Get this cotton out of my ears

The next thing that I know I'm waking up
Bright lights, white walls, an IV
In my arm, I groggily ask where
Am I and a voice answers back, you
Have the virus, we confirmed it
I ask to see my love while I endure it
They said no you'll probably spread it
The world begins to fade
And the smell of cards invade
I'm slipping aw

40 Years pass, it's 2060
The virus now long gone
And the world begins to recover from the mess
The air has never been this fresh
At least not in my lifetime
It's too bad I can't experience it
Or anyone for that matter
The human virus is extinct
Virus extinct

Virus extinct
Virus extinct
Virus extinct
Virus extinct
