Yesterday I had one of those days man

Yesterday scariest day of my life
Brought my grandma to red lobster cuz she wont be turning 81 twice
It was cloudy you could see a storm coming
Asked my grandma if she knew beyond the clouds its still sunny
Anyway we had some king crab lobster tail and shrimp
Grabbed her pills from CVS we headed home and then it flipped
Got a phone call from my wife she told me that my daughters sick
She said that she know what's wrong but wants to call the ambulance
I told her that I'm on the way
I told grandma I had to go
Then I hit every red light
And every car was goin slow
I decided to call Tina back and ask for an update
She told me Mali had a seizure I felt tears run down my face
Im like why God why u doin this to me
Why u do this to my daughter
I been praying faithfully
Then I realized the other side is always tryna test my faith
Always tryna steal joy then I decided I should pray

I pull up and see my daughter on a stretcher
I hop out I'm runnin towards her tryna hold my shit together
She appears to be unconscious they tell me that she's asleep
Run my fingers thru her hair and give her kisses on the check
And then I grabbed my youngest daughter and I strapped in her the van
Tina gets into the ambulance she riding down with them
I thought why God
Why u doin this to me

I been praying faithfully
Im Tryna drive but I cant see that well cuz tears are eyes
I dry my eyes and I then notice that the suns starting to shine
Then I thought about what I said to my grandmother that day
Then my 3 old said daddy Malis gonna be ok
And In that moment I believed it I knew she was gon be safe
Had to keep on trusting God
And keep believing in his grace
I had to put my trust in him
I had to lean into my faith
I let go and I let God
And I knew she was gon be great

And i think we go through these tough times
So we can learn how to truly love God
