I went walking this morning
I'd stayed up through the night
Couldn't stop thinking
About the meaningless things that
I couldn't get right
Too comfortable in chaos
Too quiet to blend in
So when I find myself a-walking
It's to gain distance from a sin
Oh there's another name for this
But it won't come to light
Spinnin' my wheels
On the same worn path, still
Can't bring myself to fight
I couldn't tell you where the circle starts and ends
You'd think that I would know
But I come back from a-walkin' every time
With nothing more to show
