Led Zeppelin are an English rock band formed in London in 1968. The group's heavy, guitar-driven sound, rooted in blues on their early albums, has drawn them recognition as one of the progenitors of heavy metal, though their unique style drew from a wide variety of influences, including folk music.

Led Zeppelin are widely considered one of the most successful, innovative and influential rock groups in history. They are one of the best-selling music artists in the history of audio recording; various sources estimate the group's record sales at 200 to 300 million units worldwide.

They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1995; the museum's biography of the band states that they were "as influential in that decade [the 1970s] as the Beatles were in the prior one". -Wikipedia

Quotes:
"And it's whispered that soon if we all call a tune, then the Piper will lead us to reason. And a new day will dawn for those who stand long, and the forests will echo with laughter. Does anybody remember laughter?"

"These are the seasons of emotion and like the winds they rise and fall...Upon us all a little rain must fall."

"Nobody hears a single word you say, but you keep on talking to your dying day."
"Living Loving Maid (She's Just a Woman)

"Got not time for spreading roots, the time has come to be gone. And though our health we drank a thousand times, it's time to ramble on."
"Ramble On"

"So now you'd better stop and rebuild all your ruins, for peace and trust can win the day, despite of all your losing."
"Immigrant Song"

"Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good No, Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good When the levee breaks, mama you got to move"

"I'm telling you now, the greatest thing you ever can do now is share a smile with someone who's blue now, it's very easy..."
"Friends"
