He calmed my heart, helped me heal
One wrong step, He had my back
Jesus brought me back on track
Sometimes I rush, don't wait to pray
Try to lead when I should obey
But Jesus knows, He sees the field
He's got a plan that won't be sealed
He calls me back, He makes it right
He shines a lamp, He shows His light
Even when I miss the line
He turns mistakes into design
Offsides! I ran ahead too fast
But He gave me grace that lasts and lasts
Reset the game, no need to hide
He runs with me right by my side

He forgives and lets me begin
I fell once, but now I laugh
Jesus brought me back on track
