I Was Afraid Video (MV)

Hey there, kids, do you have some little problems like I did?
It's okay, you do not need to be embarrassed like I was

So many scary things, always surrounding me
I was afraid to swim in water I was afraid to climb on trees
I would EEK at the sight of spiders
I'm still afraid of bumble bee's

I could not ride without the training wheels on my bike
All my friends could climb right up and over fences but not me

The bully kid from school I would take the long way home to avoid
I never did learn to be a fighter, I just ran away

Here's a fact I'm really not too proud of, but I'll tell you now
I wet the bed with alarming regularity 'til I was ten

I never did attend a slumber party, I was too afraid
Pee on the sheets would be the worst thing that could happen in my life

So many scary things, always surrounding me

I would "eek" at the sight of spiders
I'm still afraid of bumblebees

Now you see I am not afraid of what was way back then
I grew up and thought of all that I was missing in my life
I faced my fears, now bugs and trees and water are good friends of mine
