Larry and Susan
Were a little unusual
They both came from places
Where people abused them
Living a nightmare
Of thunder and lightening
They longed to escape
And get into the sunshine
Straight out of high school
And into the unknown
Looking for trouble
They were two young fools
Dreaming of freedom
And a stairway to heaven
The wide open road
It sat right there before them
Larry was the guy
That everybody picked on
Susan was the girl
The guys would pick up
Both of them had issues
With the school board authorities
Both of them were losers
But they wouldn't give up
Susan said to Larry
Hey I like your style
Then she sat right back
Lit a joint
Took a choke
And let it go
Woo hoo Let it go
Sometimes life blows
There's nothing you can do
But let it go
No there's nothing you can do
But let it go
Larry and Susan
Went down to the station
Got two one-way tickets
From Camden to Euston
Looking like prisoners
Alone on a platform
They longed to escape
And get away from the boredom
Six weeks later
In the evening paper
Police found two bodies
Just south of the river
Nobody realised
And nobody cared
But Larry and Susan
Were already dead
