Early on Saturday morning
With anticipation she goes
To search for that special something
She knew the market would hold
It might be an antique dresser
A desk or an old broken toy
To others it was useless
But she would restore it with joy
She sees beyond what the eye can see
Seeing all she can make it to be
Taking the broken and used
Making it just like new
With patience beyond measure
She takes joy in restoring broken treasures
When we feel worn out and useless
To the Father we can go
He is glorious healing
And restores the hurting soul
His love sees more within us
Than our minds would dare to conceive
And when His work is finished
We'll be more than we ever dreamed
He sees beyond what the eye can see
Seeing all He can make us to be
Taking the broken and used
Making us clean and new
With love beyond measure
He takes joy in restoring broken treasures
He takes joy in restoring broken treasures
