I just got a girl, and, holy f*ck, she's a robot
She's got shiny red steel and neon eyes, it's kinda hot
I don't know her name, I just flew down here from Venus
But she's already kissed me and put her claw on my penis
I brushed back her tinsel hair, she "booped" with affection
I can tell by her inflection
That she feels some connection
I won't hesitate to mention that I feel that too
So...aight, I guess she's mine
On Venus, I'm bad with the ladies, but on Mars, I'm doing fine
She took my hand and led me to her family barbeque
All the guests were alien creatures and the hot dogs were blue
My robot girl walked over to the middle of the yard
Where a fish and a sloth were sharing a glass of lard
My girl beeped again and their faces started beaming
They said they were her parents and I thought I was dreaming
But then I chucked and figured I have no reason to be screaming
Fish-mama and her baby began to chit-chat
I was face to face with her dad, I'm afraid of that
With a burp and a smile, he asked me where I was from
I stammered when I said Venus, I felt so dumb
But then the green sloth-man, he widened his eyes
He touched my face with his paw and shouted, "you tell no lies!"
I realized he was quickly growing a second mouth
So he could speak Morse Code, without any doubt
So...aight, this is going swell
On Venus, I'm bad at conversation, but on Mars, I'm doing well
Green cooks with tiger heads flip squids at the grill
They make magic ten-foot sandwiches, against the eater's will
When I ask them what they secret is, they hand me the bill
I said "you cats must be crazy. I'm only here for the thrill!"
I'm still confused as robot-girl drags me away
On Venus, I can infer, but on Mars, I'm in disarray
From Venus to Mars, From Venus to Mars
The cultural differences are bigger than those bars
And more stunning than the stars between the two planets
And I don't take that for granted
You gotta see some different worlds before you understand it
Cuz you cannot demand it to serve you the knowledge
On a silver platter
You gotta see some new faces and traverse different places
For life to really matter
From Venus to Mars, From Venus to Mars
The journey will enlighten you if you don't let it frighten you
Robot-girl dragged me miles away from the party
I don't know what I did, so all I did was say sorry
She stopped stomping and pushed her iron boot on my chest
She furiously beeped, to me it was gibberish at best
Her body fell apart; a bright purple fuse
Tiny lightning bolts jolted down to her shoes
I took all the cues to safely roll away
While Robot-girl exploded, her metal parts in disarray
"What a day it's been for you!" a growling voice said
Behind me was an orange seahorse with a boulder-sized head
Floating above the craters, he smiled down on me
I cried, "who the hell are you, some evil entity?"
It goes, "No, silly being, I'm a Goddess of the skies
I'm Ameila Earhart in a government disguise
Covering up their lies about fields of science."
I'm captured by shock and struck by silence
She committed social defiance by flying away
I curled up in a ball and began to pray
For all other beings who won't tread these special grounds
Who won't meet the cool creatures and hear all the sounds
I now surround myself in this red Mars-dust
It feels like clouds and tastes like pizza crust
This trip ain't such a bust, yeah my ship crashed down
On Venus, I contain myself, but on Mars I get around
Golden golf carts fly around the moon Deimos
There's a huge vibrant sculpture in honor of John Stamos
Made from blue worms, caught from underground
To clearly demonstrate how they think his skin sounds
And feels, no other beings gotta deal with this experiment
Some would think it's good fun, but others, a detriment
It's my sentiment that we need more oddities
On Venus, there's no imagination, but on Mars, it's a policy
From Venus to Mars, From Venus to Mars
The cultural differences are bigger than those bars
And more stunning than the stars between the two planets
And I don't take that for granted
You gotta see some different worlds before you understand it
Cuz you cannot demand it to serve you the knowledge
On a silver platter
You gotta see some new faces and traverse different places
For life to really matter
From Venus to Mars, From Venus to Mars
The journey will enlighten you if you don't let it frighten you
Alien-Abe Lincoln lives in a giant bubble
It floats in the stars, but now it speeds up, in trouble;
A neon-black portal with teeth on it's edge
Swirling around aliens and weirdos alleged
We can stop this crime if we gather our minds
Form an imagination-laser, make evil forces blind
Activate the colors of your brain and fight
If we're willing to not sleep all night
