Snowflakes falling on the windowpane
I'm looking up presents, like a model train
I'm making my list, toys and games galore
A shiny new bike and so much more
But then I see Mama's tired eyes
Counting pennies under Brooklyn skies
Baba's hands are rough, but he still holds tight
Working through another silent night
I don't want toys, no gifts for me
I just want to see my family free
I'll grow up strong, I'll make a way
To give them the Christmas of their dreams someday
The tree is small, but it stands so proud
The laughter's soft, though the world is loud
Mama's cooking dinner to her favorite song
Humming through these struggles that last so long
Baba says"Son, you can be the star
A doctor, engineer, you'll go so far"
Their dreams for me are a heavy crown
But I'll wear it high, I won't let them down
I don't want toys, no gifts for me
I just want to see my family free
I'll grow up strong, I'll make a way
To give them the Christmas of their dreams someday
I studied hard, I made em proud
I built a life above the clouds
For every sacrifice they made for me
I'll give them back their own destiny
Now Christmas isn't wrapped in bows
It's in the love my family shows
The warmth of home, the smiles we share
That's the gift beyond compare
I don't want toys, no gifts for me
I just want to see my family free
I'll grow up strong, I'll make a way
To give them the Christmas of their dreams someday
