I'm looking at you... you're looking at me
Am I really what you think I see?
I'm not talking rocket science
No laser beamed auto-appliance
I'm reflecting this core of humanity
You're talking to me... I'm listening to you
While deflecting angles we know aren't true
With a little space between them
Anyone can learn to read them
If you're only willing to let them shine through
(Mindful of the damage they can do)
Reflection and angle
It still takes two to tangle
Those lines of perception we're taught
While these old myths we've bought
Will not turn tides in our direction
Without proper angle and reflection
You're wanting to learn... while I tend to deny
Those things I've kept hidden down inside
I'm not talking of turning back
To recover those things we lack
As our hearts are turned from front to back to side
In the beginning... will also be in the end
Careful of those messages you send
At the point of reflection
Lies a built in correction
Where our enemies turn out to be our friends
(Now whose ground are you charged to defend?)
Reflection and angle
It still takes two to tangle
Those lines of perception we're taught
While these old myths we've bought
Will not turn tides in our direction
Without proper angle and reflection
